BloxDot is a design and construction practice in Lahore. We draw architecture. We draw interiors. We run the build. Every project goes through one senior from sign-on to handover, because splitting design and delivery across four different teams is the thing that breaks them.

BloxDot opened in 2023 as a Lahore practice for clients who wanted one team to handle design and construction together. Today we run architecture, interiors, and construction from one office, with supporting services for office fitout and custom furniture. We work across Lahore and travel for projects elsewhere in Pakistan and the Gulf.

Every project runs through Sohaib personally: design direction, drawings, site reviews, handover. He believes a good project stays quiet for decades. No handoffs, no account managers, one name signing off on every decision.

What makes BloxDot different from other architects in Lahore?
Most architecture firms hand you drawings and step back. Most contractors build from someone else's drawings. We do both, with the same team and one principal involved on every project. Design and construction under one contract, one point of accountability from the first site visit to the last set of keys.
Can I hire BloxDot for just design, or just construction?
Yes. Some projects come to us for architecture only. Some come to us as a general contractor working from another architect's drawings. Most clients take both because it removes the coordination burden from their side, but the choice is theirs.
What size of project do you take on?
We work on villas, apartments, offices, hospitality, and shell-and-core commercial. Budgets range widely. The honest filter is whether the project is the right fit for a team of our size, not a fixed minimum. Tell us what you're planning and we'll be direct about whether we're the right studio for it.
Do you work outside Lahore?
Yes. We have projects across Pakistan and in the Gulf. The studio is in Lahore, but we travel for site supervision and run projects elsewhere through a mix of in-person visits and local trade coordination.
How involved is the principal architect on each project?
Sohaib is involved on every project. On residential work and larger commercial jobs, he leads the design personally. On smaller interior projects, he reviews concept and approves detailed design before anything moves to build. You will not be handed off to someone you have not met.
How long before I see the first concept?
Usually two to three weeks from the signed brief, depending on project scale. Villas take longer than interior-only projects. We share a rough design calendar before work starts so you know what to expect.
What happens if I do not like the first concept?
Concept stage includes two directions, presented together. If neither lands, we rework. Our process is built around getting the concept right before any drawings go into detail, because rework at concept stage is cheap and rework at construction stage is expensive.
Do you work with my existing contractor?
Yes, through our supervision service. We review drawings, check materials, coordinate trades, and catch defects early. It is a lighter engagement than full design-build, meant for clients who have a contractor they trust but want design oversight on site.
